I chose this one because of the favorable reviews, but it would not run out of the box. I took it to the local PC dealer and they offered to replace them. After a week I called for the status, and they said it was on backorder processing has until mid-November Bummer, but refunded my money, so I’ll buy another. . . I hope the product lives up to its reputation. This is the 2nd Time that I bought an item on Amazon, where the engine is not working out of the box. . . the other was the engine on a Delta jointer. It took 4-6 weeks to get a new engine. . . Tough sledding when you try to work on a project! Revised 1/14/07 could – I buy a new router – the same model. It is very well executed so far with a fair amount of use. The switch is sealed and is not very big, so it is difficult to tell if you have switched it on or off immediately. This could be a safety issue, but eventually I want to set up a switch that I can put on the side of the housing, so I did not get under the table to turn it off on and off. I’m stuck still a problem with frozen bits of still in the chuck and it’s easy to switch between 1 / 2 and 1 / 4 shank bits. Variable speed train is a nice to avoid burning. Rating: 1 / 5
